Job description
As IT Vendor Manager, you are responsible for the end2end service management of our generic Connectivity services. These outsourced services consist of WAN, user LAN, Datacenter LAN, perimeter services worldwide.
Responsible for managing the demand and supply of these services on a tactical and (partly) operational level.
You will discuss the monthly service reporting with the vendor(s) on both quality as well on costs. Service Improvement, capacity, security and life cycle management are important aspects and need continuous improvement.
In your role you represent IT Operations for (a part of) the IT services portfolio towards our internal and external customers. Due to fast moving environment, you are also responsible for all required Connectivity changes and projects.
Another part of your position is to monitor the creation of new services and assure delivery according to the agreed quality, service acceptance criteria and costs in close cooperation with the architects.
Responsible for creating a tactical roadmap for Connectivity services that is in line with business goals and the overall IT strategy.
Desired Skills & Experience
Education
Academic level or equivalent combination of education.
Experience
5 to 7 years relevant working experience, with a strong focus on IT Service Management
Strong process management skills
Experience with ITIL Service Support and Service Delivery processes is a must
Experience with outsourcing and vendor demand management is a pre

Context of the position
Reports to the director of Datacenter & Network. Besides interfacing with your fellow colleagues in IT Operations you also will interface with the managers of the IT Competence Centers and Business Information Managers. He or she will have external interfaces with supplier account representatives.
Other Information
Due to the fact that our client is a 7*24 hours operated company he/she must be available for standby shifts for escalation management if required.
